The Gravity Avenue C is just the bike for the rider wanting the performance of an aluminum frame, wide gearing, comfortable riding position and dealing with a budget.
The Avenue frame is precision welded from specially shaped lightweight and strong aluminum tubing. The tubing is Gravity's own special R-Series tube-set. Look at the engineered, hydroformed top tube and bi-oval downtube. This is designed for a responsive performance while maintaining a comfortable ride quality. The frame is a semi-compact geometry which allows for a bit more comfortable and upright position yet is still aero-enough for some serious riding.
Note: Some bikes have additional seat tube and seat stay decal (cannot choose)
Upgrades from the Avenue B are:
MicroShift Integrated Brake and Shift levers. The ultimate in ergonomics and convenience. This advanced system allows the rider to brake and shift without moving their arms and hands away from the bars.
Shimano Sora 3400 Rear Derailleur. This derailleur is normally found on bicycles costing upwards of $900
Compare this bike to the Trek 1.1 at $659 plus tax. Both have straight blade forks and aluminum frames, both have semi-compact frames. The Trek has only 16 gears, the Avenue has a much wider range with 24 gears. Trek 1.1 is $659 + tax.
